Officers investigating the disappearance of 52 yr old Nigel Kedar are searching the Thelveton area on Sunday 10 June to assist with their enquiries.

Nigel was last seen at 9.30am on Tuesday 4 April walking southbound through Dickleburgh towards Ipswich.

The investigation is continuing with specialist officers, including search advisors and assistance from the Norfolk Lowland Search and Rescue (NorLSAR), but officers are keen to speak with members of the public who may have seen Nigel on or after Tuesday 4 April 2017.

He is described as being white, 5ft 11 tall, of a large build and has short hair. He was wearing dark coloured trousers with a lighter coloured long sleeved shirt.

A search will be carried out in the Thelveton area from 9.30am on Sunday 11 June 2017.

Anyone with information should contact Norfolk Constabulary immediately on 999.

Police search for missing Essex man

Police are appealing for help to trace a man who is missing from the Clacton area.

After visiting Norwich on Sunday 2 April, Nigel Kedar, aged 52, was last seen in Long Stratton on  Tuesday 4 April 2017.

Officers are growing concerned for the welfare of Nigel and would like to hear from anyone who may have seen him or may know of his whereabouts.

He is described as white, 5ft 11 tall, of large build and with short hair. It is also believed he may be wearing a dark coloured long sleeved shirt and dark trousers.

Anyone with information should contact Norfolk Constabulary immediately on 999.

CCTV released in search for missing man

Officers have released a CCTV image of 52-year-old missing man Nigel Kedar leaving a shop in Long Stratton as they grow increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Detective Chief Inspector Marie James said: "Nigel has been missing from his home in Clacton in Essex for more than a week now. We are aware he visited Norwich on Sunday (2 April) and made his way on foot through Long Stratton. Nigel was last seen at 7.30am on Tuesday 4th April walking on the A140 at Pulham Market in the direction of the A14.

I would urge anyone who travelled on the A140 or A14 that morning to try and remember if they saw Nigel walking along the road. If you habitually use this stretch of road at this time and have a dash cam please contact us as you may have vital information which will help us find Nigel. I would also like to appeal to delivery drivers that may have travelled on this day with recording equipment to come forward. Any information, however small you may think, could be significant.

We are using specialist officers including search advisors and the National Police Air Service (NPAS) to search for Nigel but are appealing for help from the public to support us with our enquiries.”

Searching for missing man continues

Officers investigating the disappearance of 52 yr old Nigel Kedar are continuing with their enquires today along the A140 corridor.

Nigel was last seen at 9.30am on Tuesday 4 April walking southbound through Dickleburgh towards Ipswich.

Detective Chief Inspector Marie James said: "The last positive sighting of Nigel was two weeks ago and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

"Enquiries have revealed that Nigel visited Norwich on Sunday 2 April and made his way on foot through Long Stratton, Pulham Market and through Dickleburgh. However, his movements are not known from this point onwards.

"I would urge anyone who was travelling in the Dickleburgh, Scole or Diss areas to contact us as you may have vital information which will help us find Nigel.”
