Keyholder Scheme
Registration to the Keyholder Scheme provided by Norfolk Constabulary ensures peace of mind to both home and business owners, helping us to deliver an effective and secure service to you and those responsible for your property.
Where you or your keyholder are able to assist, the scheme saves you time and inconvenience, and you may reduce any damage to your property, as the scheme enables the building to be accessed and secured by a keyholder, avoiding further loss, cost or injury in case an emergency occurs.
How it works
On being informed of an incident/issue at your premises, our Command and Control System, which records incidents reported to police, will automatically alert the operator within Command and Control System, that the location is part of the Keyholder Scheme. We will then, if required, attempt to contact you or one of your nominated keyholders. The Keyholder Scheme also allows the police to store any gate/key safe codes or hazards at the location if required. We will also supply a door/window Keyholder Scheme sticker for you to display if you so wish.
What it costs
Non-commercial properties, including residential, schools and churches, cost £13 per year.
Business premises cost £25 per year.
