Norfolk Constabulary has produced Mobility scooter safety and
the Highway Code in partnership with Halfords, to help you stay
safe and secure on your mobility scooter.
The aim of the guide is to assist mobility scooter users in
improving their confidence to use a mobility scooter in a safe
and responsible manner, maintaining their independence and
freedom.

Superintendent Jim Smerdon remained on hand to provide
safety tips, but it was his police powers that were required by the
end as one of the contestants was 'arrested' for dangerous mobility
scooter driving.
