Key Facts

  • The Cobholm and Southtown Neighbourhood area includes Cobholm, Southtown, and Suffolk Road Estate. There is a large residential population accommodated in private and social housing. There are a number of schools on or close to this beat. There is also the Great Yarmouth College of Further Education attracting students from a wide area.
  • In the west of the area Harfrey’s industrial estate is home to the largest number of industrial units whilst Gapton and Pasteur Retail Parks feature national household names that attract large a number of shoppers
  • The A12 arterial route passes through and both river crossings are accessed from this area. These provide easy access to Great Yarmouth and beyond as well as direct links into Suffolk.
