A Norfolk taxi driver who was found in possession of a taser and an extendable baton has been sentenced at Court.

57 year old Peter Fredrick Bromley of High Street, Loddon pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to possessing a prohibited weapon and having an offensive weapon.

The charges relate to an incident on Saturday 20 March this year where police responded to intelligence and searched a taxi at Norwich train station. 

At Norwich Crown Court on Thursday 2 September, Bromley was sentenced to four months in prison, suspended for 12 months, ordered to carry out 120 hours of unpaid work and pay £150 in costs.
