Traffic cone amnesty
Traffic wardens in West Norfolk are asking people to hand back
traffic cones previously offered on loan.
The cones are needed for day-to-day use by both wardens and
police officers dealing with traffic and parking issues across the
borough.
Warden Rachel Forrest said: "It's clear from our stock that some
people are holding on to the cones. They may have simply forgotten
about them or are using them to deal with their own parking issues
- this is not what they are for.
"We will be picking up stray cones on our patrols and if people
call us, we will arrange to collect them."
