Teens arrested for drug offences
Three teenagers have received formal cautions from police for
possessing Class C drugs.
Members of public reported their concerns of drug misuse at
Margaret Harker Hall and Memorial Ground, Blofield on Friday 18
June.
Police attended the scene and arrested three men aged between 19
and 20 from the South Norfolk area, suspected to be in possession
with ketamine.
The cautions will show on their criminal record and if caught a
second time will increase their chances of facing a court
appearance.
Sgt Julia Sandell from the Acle Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT)
said: “We took immediate action following a call from the public
who reported their suspicions, which should reassure the public
that we react proactively to any drug misuse concerns.
“If anyone suspects drug offences please report them to police
so we can stop drug activity in the area”.
