Flooring stolen from renovated property
Officers are appealing for information following the theft of
hundreds of pounds worth of flooring from a Norfolk building
site.
The incident took place some time between 4.30pm on Monday, 1
February and 8.30am on Tuesday, 2 February, at the site in the
village of Kerdiston.
Offender/s broke into the premises - an old farm building
currently under renovation - and stole nearly £9000 worth of
'Smoked Oak' wooden flooring and around £3000 worth of under floor
heating equipment ready for fitting.
Due to the large amount of flooring and equipment taken officers
believe the offender/s must have used some kind of vehicle.
They are keen to speak to anyone who may have spotted anyone
acting suspiciously in the area or who may have been offered such
flooring - which had been imported - for sale.
Witnesses should contact PC Richard Parfitt at Aylsham Police
Station on 0845 456 4567 or Crimestoppers
anonymously on 0800 555 111.
