Norfolk Police joins Facebook
People who live, work and socialise in Norfolk now have their
very own dedicated Constabulary Facebook site - allowing them to
engage with Norfolk Constabulary at the click of a button.
Taking advantage of the technology available on this popular
social networking site, the Constabulary is able to post a wide
range of information which will help in our fight against
crime.
Items on the site include CCTV images of offenders, local
neighbourhood campaigns, information on crime maps and employment
and various community press releases.
Watch out also for the launch of our Twitter account – coming
soon.
Rachel Binns, Head of Digital Media at the Constabulary welcomes
the launch saying:
"We consider the use of social media as an important way to
connect with the communities and people who are typically
considered "hard to reach".
"We can build on confidence and satisfaction levels by
interacting with the public in different ways and social media such
as Facebook is one platform through which to do this."
