Holt fun day
Families and residents of Holt are being
invited to a ‘fun day’ on Sunday 12 September.
The event, organised by Holt Safer
Neighbourhood Team (SNT), offers locals an opportunity for local
residents and officers to get together and enjoy a fun-filled day
of activities whilst raising money for Sport Relief and local youth
clubs.
Young football enthusiasts are invited to join
in the fun by entering a 5-a-side football team to take part a
series of matches throughout the day, local youth teams will be
taking part and local officers have formed their very own team to
take on the challenge.
There will also be a
bouncy castle, fun run assault course and raffle to keep all the
family amused, with a BBQ, ice-cream van and other refreshments
available to keep everyone going throughout the day.
PCSO Rachel Howard from Holt SNT, one of the
event organisers, said: “Fun days such as this are not only an
ideal opportunity for local officers to engage with and get to know
the local community but also offer families an friends an ideal
occasion to enjoy spending some quality time
together.
“We hope that the event will encourage
residents to get know their local officers and feel comfortable to
approach them with any queries or concerns that they might have, as
well as being good fun for all involved!”
