Families and residents of Holt are being invited to a ‘fun day’ on Sunday 12 September.

The event, organised by Holt Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), offers locals an opportunity for local residents and officers to get together and enjoy a fun-filled day of activities whilst raising money for Sport Relief and local youth clubs.

Young football enthusiasts are invited to join in the fun by entering a 5-a-side football team to take part a series of matches throughout the day, local youth teams will be taking part and local officers have formed their very own team to take on the challenge.

Will you challenge the police team?There will also be a bouncy castle, fun run assault course and raffle to keep all the family amused, with a BBQ, ice-cream van and other refreshments available to keep everyone going throughout the day.

PCSO Rachel Howard from Holt SNT, one of the event organisers, said: “Fun days such as this are not only an ideal opportunity for local officers to engage with and get to know the local community but also offer families an friends an ideal occasion to enjoy   spending some quality time together.

“We hope that the event will encourage residents to get know their local officers and feel comfortable to approach them with any queries or concerns that they might have, as well as being good fun for all involved!”

All are welcome to attend the fun day on Sunday 12 September from 12.30pm-5pm at Holt Playing Field, Kelling Road, Holt.
