Body found in Sedgeford fire

Police can confirm that a fire at a house in Sedgeford yesterday
is not being treated as suspicious.
The body of an elderly woman was found in the property on Holly
Hill following the fire on the morning of Sunday 30 December
2012.
Further inquiries carried out today by police and the fire
service at the property have found there are no suspicious
circumstances surrounding the fire. The seal at the property has
now been lifted and a file is being prepared for the Coroner.

Police can confirm that a body of an elderly lady has been found
in a house after a fire that took place earlier today near
Hunstanton.
Officers along with the fire service and
ambulance were called at about 7.15am this morning to a
property at Holly Hill in Sedgeford.
The fire was extinguished and the road was
closed with diversions put in place. Most of these were lifted at
about 10.35am today.
Investigations are on going to establish the
cause of the fire which, at this time, remains unexplained. A seal
remains in place on the property as enquiries between the fire
service and police continue.
Next of kin have been informed, formal
identification of the body is still to take place and the Coroner
will be informed in due course.
