Requests to have fingerprints taken for overseas checks
Norfolk Constabulary offers the facility of taking the fingerprints of all persons who are either seeking to relocate overseas or who need to get an overseas passport renewed.

Should you need to have your fingerprints taken, the following information is required to be seen at the time of fingerprinting:

• A current passport of all persons who are to be fingerprinted
• All supporting documentation from the requesting embassy or agency.

 

There is a cost for this service set nationally by ACPO:

• For an initial set of fingerprints the cost is £67.40
• For each additional set the cost is £33.70

Payment can only be accepted by cheque made payable to Norfolk Police Authority. Should you wish to make an appointment, contact the Force switchboard on 0845 456 4567 and ask for the Fingerprint Bureau, the opening times for this service are Monday to Friday from 9am until 4pm.

This facility is only available at the Fingerprint Bureau based at police headquarters in Wymondham.
