James Close

James Close is ICT Director and reports to the Assistant Chief Officer (Resources). He is responsible for the delivery and development of the force IT and communications systems and infrastructure.

 

He joined Norfolk Constabulary in 2005 as the Project Manager responsible for the introduction of ANPR to the force. Since then James has been involved in many of the modernisation changes the most challenging being the introduction of the new response model. His most recent role was that of Head of Quest and Projects. Prior to joining Norfolk Constabulary James was employed as the Operations Director for a Mobile communications and Data Solutions company in the private sector.
